Indian military planners have been working on the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) to create a stealthy, multirole, air dominance fighter. The F-22, a fighter aircraft of the fifth generation, served as an inspiration. The Aeronautical Development Agency, an organization under DRDO, is responsible for its design.
