Lockheed Martin’s stealth multirole combat fighter, the F-35 Lightning II, is designed for air superiority.

Image
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole combat aircraft that is intended to perform both air superiority and strike missions. It is also able to provide electronic warfare and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities. Lockheed Martin is the prime F-35 contractor, with principal partners Northrop Grumman and BAE Systems. The aircraft has three main variants: the conventional takeoff and landing (CTOL) F-35A, the short take-off and vertical-landing (STOVL) F-35B, and the carrier-based (CV/CATOBAR) F-35C. The aircraft descends from the Lockheed Martin X-35, which in 2001 beat the Boeing X-32 to win the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. Its development is principally funded by the United States, with additional funding from program partner countries from NATO and close U.S. allies, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Italy, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and fo

HMS Audacious Astute-Class SSN of the Royal Navy Sets Sail

Image
HMS Audacious, the fourth of seven Astute-class attack submarines being built by BAE Systems for the Royal Navy, set sail from our Barrow-in-Furness site today. The submarine was guided into open water for the first time before setting off on her inaugural journey to Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde, the home of the UK’s Submarine Service. HMS Audacious will prepare for sea trials before entering operational service with the Royal Navy. The departure of HMS Audacious marks a significant milestone in the Astute programme, which is providing seven new attack submarines for the Royal Navy and the capability it needs to defend UK interests at home and overseas. New ways of working and amended protocols have been introduced at the site, in line with Government guidelines, to enable a small team of employees to provide vital support to the Royal Navy ahead of the boat’s departure, while protecting their Health and wellbeing. Built by BAE Systems, which employs around 9,000 peopl

The helicopters that submarines are most wary of are these ones (Video)

Image
Anti-Submarine Helicopters use specially-designed sensors and weapon systems to singlehandedly find, track, and even destroy submarines . One of the biggest fears of submarines are specially designed military helicopters developed with anti-submarine warfare capabilities. Such aircraft have grown enormously in the latest years. But how does a helicopter of this type work, and why are the most sophisticated products so efficient in their role? First of all, anti- submarine warfare helicopters  serve in naval environments, while they mainly operate on vessels (with a suitable hangar), alone, or with one more to two other similar aircraft. Their role is clear: anti-submarine warfare helicopters serve as aircraft that search, detect and track enemy submarines and underwater vehicles. Many of the most modern helicopters of this type can perform attack operations, although the payload limits its firepower. There are secondary tasks and missions that these aircraft can compl

China’s Finest Combat UAV is called Tengden TB-001

The TB-001, nicknamed the “Twin-Tailed Scorpion”, is operated by the People’s Liberation Army. China is emerging as a leading country in drones. The TB-001, nicknamed the “Twin-Tailed Scorpion”, is operated by the People’s Liberation Army. This is a medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) designed by Sichuan Tengden, was first unveiled in September 2017. Recently leaked images show China’s TB-001 carrying a full range of bombs and air-to-surface missiles, showing a potential threat that Unmanned Combat Aircraft may pose on the battlefield. The TB-001 UAV uses a twin-boom design similar to that of the Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter. It has a pair of turbocharged-piston engines, each driving a three-bladed propeller on either side of the central fuselage, underneath a straight high-mounted wing. It has a range of about 6,000-8,000 kilometers and a maximum flight time of 35 hours. The photo of the drone was shared over multiple social m

The world was astounded by this new huge aircraft carrier from America.

Welcome back to American Heroes for a new documentary video about This America’s New Gigantic Aircraft Carrier Shocked The World. You may have heard that there is no easy way to sink an aircraft carrier. In our case, there is almost… no way to sink a modern U.S. Navy carrier! These expensive and advanced Military ships are deployed and operate in every ocean around the globe. That means that it’s really crucial for the U.S. Navy to protect them from potential threats. That’s why they are built and deployed in a way that it’s almost impossible to sink such a vessel. Without further ado, let’s see how this is achieved. US Aircraft Carries Are Beasts Of The Ocean Considering that U.S. Navy is the biggest in the world, it’s clear that it operates the most advanced and capable aircraft carriers. The American Navy has in total eleven active aircraft carriers. Although, a lot of people believe there are more than eleven. That’s because they wrongly consider amphibious assault

The General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark Was a True Multirole Combat Aircraft – Developed to meet a bold United States Department of Defense (DoD) edict that called for a multi-role aircraft that could meet all future tactical needs of all U.S. Military services, the General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark proved to be a major success, albeit with a rocky start. Production variants of the F-111 had it serve in roles that included ground attack/interdiction; strategic bombing, with nuclear weapons; reconnaissance; and electronic warfare. It was a long-range, all-weather strike aircraft that was capable of navigating at low levels to destroy targets deep in enemy territory. Multi-role Aircraft It was truly a cutting-edge multi-role aircraft, including being the first production variable-geometry wing aircraft as well as to feature terrain-following radar for low-level, high-speed flight. It also pioneered the use of after-burning turbofan engines. The F-111 Aardvark had been origin

The fastest, stealthiest, and most dangerous submarines in existence, they are equipped with a variety of deadly armaments.

Who has the deadliest sub? America? Russia? MIL.RU, CREATIVE COMMONS Submarines have a number of tactical advantages that make them a formidable foe in combat: they’re fast, stealthy, and can carry a wide range of debilitating weapons. A recent ranking of the 49 most dangerous submarines in the world includes A-list heavy hitters, but also some of the smallest subs in service. It also features some of the most advanced submarines in the world, including the American Ohio-class guided missile submarines—each of which can blanket targets with up to 154 cruise missiles—as well as some vessels originally built during World War II and midget subs designed by Iran and North Korea. Compiled by undersea authority H.I. Sutton at Covert Shores, the list is a rundown of the most lethal submarines operated by the world’s navies, and takes into account a submarine’s number of torpedoes, torpedo tubes, and missile tubes designed to fire anti-ship or land attack cruise missiles. Five Projection Concerning The Sixth Generation Fighter

Image
United State, Russia, and China have already presented their fifth generation aircraft. Undoubtedly, the United States is ahead with its F-22s and F-35s, both in quantity and quality. The first fifth generation fighters appeared in the United States in 2003 and entered service in 2005. Russia and China are gradually catching up with the states and developing their machines, but some of them are still not fully completed. Despite this, there is already active talk about the next 6th generation fighter. It is not yet entirely clear what it will be, but already now, experts in the Military sphere are giving six predictions – what the sixth generation fighter should be like. 6th Generation Fighter Jets and the Future of Aerial Wᴀʀғᴀʀᴇ: #1.  For promising aircraft, the latest system of onboard radio-electronic equipment will be developed, combining means of communication, electronic ᴡᴀʀғᴀʀᴇ and radar. #2 . The US Billions Dollar Fighter Jet No One Can Buy

Nothing in the world is more costly than wаг. Usually consuming heavy percentages of a country’s GDP, wаг can easily set any country back decades. For instance, the US’s recent major wаг – the wаг on teггoг, which began in 2001, is expected to сoѕt the US between $3.2 and $4 trillion. That’s 20% of the nation’s entire economy. The expenses сoⱱeг a wide range of things but one section that constantly gulps up a lot of it is the fleet of highly advanced aircraft operating in the US Air foгсe. The Most Dangerous Military Helicopter in Modern Times

Image
From the moment of its first appearance until today, the helicopter has been an integral part of the arsenal of both civil and Military services. The armies have started using helicopter gunships relatively recently. This technique carries out the transportation of goods, fast transportation of passengers, and also allows you to effectively destroy enemy ground targets. Combat helicopters are now firmly established in virtually all armies in the world – as a reliable multifunctional weapon. Surprisingly, even today, in all this variety of Military equipment, there are not so many models of attack helicopters. At the moment, a little more than 30 models have become widespread in the world. Given this “intraspecific diversity”, it is not at all difficult to choose the truly successful and most formidable examples of these “souls of tanks”. Nevertheless, there are still disputes among connoisseurs of Military equipment over which helicopter rightfully belongs to the tit

Sixth Generation Stealth aircraft go up against the revived X-44 MANTA.

Image
The premise behind the X-44 Manta was to build an even better stealth fіɡһteг than the F-22 Raptor, and in no ᴜпсeгtаіп terms, that is precisely the stated aim of the NGAD program. However, it’s also important to note that the X-44 concept was born in 1999, making its design just about as dated as the F-35 and the fighters NGAD will be tаѕked with kіɩɩіпɡ–the Chinese J-20, and Russian Su-57, Way back in 1999, Lockheed Martin had a plan to field a delta-shaped stealth fіɡһteг that skipped the need for a conventional tail section, in the F-22-based X-44 Manta. Instead of using a conventional tail section with both vertical and horizontal control surfaces, the Manta aimed to ɩeⱱeгаɡe thrust vector control, or directing the flow of the engine’s thrust to give the aircraft the acrobatic capabilities it would need in a high-end dogfight. Today, more than two decades later, that same concept appears to be found consistently across nearly all official renderings of the Air foгсe

Meet these lethal but lesser-known American weapon systems that represent a serious threat to the country’s adversaries

Image
There is no doubt in this statement that American-made weapon systems are the best in the world. From battle tanks to fighter aircrafts, to submarines, the USA makes the best weapon systems in the entire world. U. S. designed weapons are always of the state-of-the-art category. Also we have seen the domestic and international media praising U. S. made weapons and other associated military equipments. But in reality, not every weapon and equipment that the U. S. Military uses is known by the world. Today in this article we will discuss three different types of weapon systems made by USA, that are lesser-known in the world, but these weapons are extremely useful and deadly. RQ-180 stealth unmanned aerial vehicle surveillance aircraft of the United States Air Force  The first lesser-known military weapon is the RQ-180 stealthy unmanned reconnaissance aircraft. I guess many of you may have not heard about this reconnaissance drone. Some of you may be thinking that this is t

A Closer Look At The Martin JRM Mars, The Largest Allied Flying Boat Produced During WWII

Image
It was in August 1938 when the U.S. Navy first granted Glenn L. Martin Aircraft Company to create a brand-new flying boat, which could have parallel uses as a slow-moving patrol bomber. The spectacular JRM Mars was of record-breaking size, being the largest  Military  flying boat ever produced and to serve in the U.S. Military . The Martin JRM Mars spent most of its life nestled in the Canadian Fire Services, battling never ending blazes across the forests of British Columbia. The Martin JRM Mars sure did pack a powerful punch compared to the smaller but similar Fire Boss. The JRM was able to unload 27,276 gallons of water in a couple of seconds – enough to cover 4 acres of burning land – in comparison to the 819 gallons a single Fire Boss could release. The Martin JRM Mars was the largest WWII-Era Production Allied Flying boat in History , and here’s everything you need to know about it. The Martin JRM Mars Was Heavily Inspired By The PBM Mariner When compared to th

The recently discovered 65-ton enormous dinosaur provides answers to a puzzle in the world of paleontology
